Treating more newly diagnosed cancer patients than any other health system in Florida, the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute (FHCI) Gynecologic Oncology Program is pushing the limits of cancer expertise, technology and patient care. From our Coordinated Care Programs that provide one-on-one support to our nationally recognized clinical research center, we offer patients the very best treatment in a state-of-the-art environment.

Detection, Treatment & Research

At the heart of our program is our deep desire to make a different in the life of each patient we serve. Our care providers not only focus on the disease but on the whole person, providing comprehensive educational, emotional and spiritual support.

Supporting our patients is one of the most sophisticated cancer programs in the state, backed by the latest medical research and major breakthroughs in detection, prevention, treatment and research.

Working together, our physicians, specialists and surgeons provide you with skilled, professional care. Because your care comes first, we have developed an environment that offers a single contact point for nursing assessment and support, rapid scheduling, assistance with insurance issues, the ability to get second opinions, the option to participate in clinical trials and ongoing education. Accessibility and honesty are important to our patients and to us.

Nationally Recognized For Our Expertise

The Gynecologic Oncology Center is nationally recognized as a leader in cancer research and treatment. Our team of distinguished experts on cancer is well regarded, not only in the region, but nationally and internationally as well.

In fact, the FHCI was one of 12 community oncology programs to be honored by the American Society of Clinical Oncology for our commitment to improving the care of cancer patients through increased participation in key clinical trials.

Of course, we aren’t about to rest on our laurels. We are continually discovering and incorporating new ways to prevent and treat cancer while striving to improve patient care on all fronts.

Our participation in more than 100 national clinical trials annual is just one of example. These trials offer our patients the latest treatments and prevention methods, many of which may not become available for months, if not years, to come.
