Martin Dietrich, MD, PhD, is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology with fellowship training in hematology and oncology. At the Cancer Institute of Florida, he treats many types of malignancies with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of patients for breast cancer. Dr. Dietrich became a medical oncologist because he was fascinated by the progress that has been made in understanding cancer, genetics and molecular biology, which has led to life-saving treatments for many and the hope of a cure for all. His clinical and research interests include immunotherapy and targeted therapy, the development of new agents in clinical trials, biomarker development and genetic research. Dr. Dietrich considers it a privilege to work with his patients and their families, and finds strength in the care they extend to one another.
