The Florida Hospital Cancer Institute is one of the most active clinical trial sites in Florida.

Founded in 1989, our Clinical Research Center team participates in more than 100 clinical trials each year for all types of cancer trials, cancer control and prevention.

These trials are provided through many prestigious organizations, including the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Duke Oncology Network, Sarah Cannon Research Institute, the Oncology Research International (TORI) out of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and various pharmaceutical companies. Often, we are the only facility in the Southeast offering such trials. And in 2006, FHCI was one of only 12 community oncology programs in the United States to receive honors from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, recognizing our commitment to improving care for cancer patients through increased participation in clinical trials.
