Meet Our Blood and Marrow Transplant Physicians

The Florida Hospital Cancer Institute’s international reputation for excellence in health care has attracted some of the leading experts in bone marrow transplantation (BMT). Working closely with other doctors and specialists in a multidisciplinary environment where patients come first, they have raised the bar when it comes to successful BMT procedures that help balance and restore the body’s immune system so that it can effectively battle infections and diseases.

Following is a list of team members that you will be working with during your transplant and what their roles are at FHCI.

Attending Physicians

The attending physician for your treatment specializes in bone marrow and stem cell transplantation. A specific physician will be assigned to your case, but you will also receive care from other specialists and doctors during your transplant. Your primary care physician will keep you informed about your progress and your care plan.
