James Bekeny, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained otolaryngologist—head and neck surgeon specializing in ablative, microvascular, reconstructive, and robotic surgery for head and neck cancer treatment. He also specializes in the surgical management of benign and malignant thyroid and parathyroid disease and sleep disorders. He is an energetic physician, trained at excellent academic medical centers, including Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree and completed a residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery and received the David Zealear Award for Research Initiative. Dr. Bekeny went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstruction at The Ohio State University Medical Center/The James Cancer Center.
