Martin Dietrich, MD, PhD, is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology with fellowship training in hematology and oncology. At the Cancer Institute of Florida, he will treat many types of malignancies with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of patients for breast cancer. Dr. Dietrich became a medical oncologist because he was fascinated by the progress that has been made in understanding cancer, genetics and molecular biology, which has led to life-saving treatments for many and the hope of a cure for all. His clinical and research interests include immunotherapy and targeted therapy, the development of new agents in clinical trials, biomarker development and genetic research. Dr. Dietrich considers it a privilege to work with his patients and their families, and finds strength in the care they extend to one another.
